Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos™ is a strategy videogame created by Blizzard Entertainment and it is the third of the Warcraft series . Besides continuing the history of the medieval epic world of Warcraft it distinguishes from its predecessors by incorporating two important changes: the 3D graphics and the two new races.
The game consists basically in administering the available resources (gold, wood and living) to produce military units and to develop an army to fight against the opponents until all their buildings are destroyed. The game provides several strategies of attack or defense, and the battle tactics executed differ in the four different types of civilizations: human, orcs, night elfs and living dead. Each one of these races is commanded at the same time by three classes of heroes that head and support significantly the battles before their adversaries. These heroes are one of the innovative elements of the game since they are capable to grow considerably and obtain items distributed in the settings.
The 1.2 patch launched by Blizzard brings several bug and error fixes and some corrections to the maps. |
